With 15 years of experience across inside sales and marketing—including deep work with high-growth startups and enterprise SaaS—I help brands differentiate with clarity, confidence, and measurable results. I started my career in the startup world, where resourcefulness wasn’t optional—it was the job description. That scrappy, high-stakes environment taught me how to move fast, think big, and build impactful marketing from the ground up. I bring that same energy into every engagement: thoughtful, agile, and built to perform.

Most recently, I led growth marketing at ICE Mortgage Technology, one of the largest fintech brands in the space. It’s here I found my people—and my passion for the mortgage and fintech industries. There’s a unique blend of grit, generosity, and heart in this space that’s unmatched. Sure, it’s a male-dominated industry—but let’s be honest, it could use a little more strategy, storytelling, and a feminine edge. I’ve made it my mission to amplify the voices of the changemakers working behind the scenes—helping them show up, speak up, and scale with intention.

From full-funnel content strategies and brand positioning to go-to-market launches, CRM optimization, and analytics—I’ve done it all. I work cross-functionally with product, sales, and creative teams to turn vision into momentum. And about the name?

Yes, DeLaine (duh-LAIN) is my real name—and no, most people don’t say it right the first time. But they always remember it. It’s unique, just like my style. I’ve heard it described as “strong,” “memorable,” and “never boring”—which, honestly, sums up my approach to marketing, too.

And my last name? It’s Nick—so yes, you’ll often hear me say I get things done in the Nick of time. Because when it comes to execution, I move fast, think ahead, and deliver when it matters most.

Rooted in connection

I got my start as a fiercely competitive seven-year-old Girl Scout with a cookie quota and a passion for connection. That early spark shaped how I work and why I work—to make people feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Today, I’m a proud aunt, a devoted dog mom to Ruby (aka my furry creative assistant), and a Nashville local who finds inspiration in five-day-a-week workouts and front-row live music.

For me, marketing isn’t just about metrics—it’s about meaning. I believe standing out starts with knowing who you are—and my job is to help you express that with purpose, strategy, and style.
